It is revealed that David Beckham has taken 57 flights in the five months since he moved to Spain. He has spent 145 hours in the air and covered 53,488 miles - the equivalent of more than six days in the sky and two trips around the world. The cost of luxury air travel over the last 26 weeks was £193,610. A private jet from London to Madrid costs just £6,000.

David Beckham is set to miss Real Madrid's Liga match with Real Sociedad on Saturday. His ankle injury, which he picked up last weekend against Murcia, has become infected. He was hoping to return in time for the Sociedad match, but it appears that will not be possible.
Madrid's medical department on released a statement that said Beckham has an infection in the wound. "He still has four stitches which they gave him to close the original wound," they added. "These require a period of time before they are taken out as the wound has to form a scar," they said.

Victoria Beckham says that she turned down the chance to host next month's Brit awards because she thinks she'd be "really crap". This was heard on Chris Moyles Radio 1 morning show.

The Daily Mirror reports that David Beckham has made his debut pop video. He is starring in a video for Spanish singer Ana Ann's new single which is in aid of children's charity UNICEF. Old video footage of Becks and family was included so he was a bit surprised when he out! There was no prolem though as David is a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF.

It is reported that stores in Manchester have slashed prices on scores of items of David Beckham merchandise. City centre retailers have cut prices by more than a half to shift Beckham related books, clothing and computer games.
Victoria is spotted with Becks looking at skimpy crocheted tops at Dolce & Gabbana in Milan.

The Daily Mirror reports that Victoria Beckham's rap producer Damon Dash has been accused of rape. A spokeswoman for Victoria said: "This is not something she would comment on."

A late strike from Sergio Ballesteros gave Real Madrid a late scare, but they hung on for a 2-1 win against Villareal and reclaim first place in Spain. Beckham received a cut ankle from Argentinian defender Rodolfo Arruabarrena late on in the match. Beckham gave another full-blooded performance at the heart of Real's midfield. He was involved in a series of clashes with opposition players as tempers flared near the end.
He ended rumours of a summer switch to Chelsea, insisting: "There is nothing Roman Abramovich or anyone else can do to make me leave Real Madrid.
