Ole Has A Reds Dream
This was the headline in the Manchester Evening News Sports section yesterday. Ole wants to convince Manchester United he can play until he is 35.
He doesn't need to convince me. Once he gets really fit again, you watch him next season....
So for fecks sake play him in his proper position! Up front with Saha (if RVN goes as the rumours have it).
Here's a fans response to that article in the M.E.N.
Ole will always have a contribution to make for United. He's been here for 8 years, hard to believe it's been that long but we've been lucky that Ole decided to stick with us. He was offered more money and more first team football to leave Utd and what does he do? Shows incredible loyalty and scores the most famous goal in United history, not to mention every important goal he's scored and every pass he's made since.
He's a phenomenal player and suprisingly underrated. We've missed him so much this season and I for one, can't wait to see him back to his best. Ole is a rarity in today's game and a true red legend. Top lad.
Michael, Salford, Manchester
Can't argue with that!

Third World Transport
I may be doing the Third World a disservice. For a change we thought we'd use the Metrolink station nearest to Old Trafford, on the Eccles line. We were fed up being herded like sheep into pens before being allowed onto the platform on the Altrincham line.
Biggggg mistake....again. There were no restrictions about getting on the platform. The problem was every train that arrived was full...all two coaches. Three trains went before we could get on one.
It should be re-named the Sardine Line.
Apparently a recent report concluded that the Metrolink system hadn't reduced the numbers of people using their cars to get to Manchester City Centre. Therefore they proposed higher car parking costs and less spaces made available.
What a bunch of tossers! Try putting more coaches on the trains and have more Metrolink lines.
Silly me..that would cost money...and less profit in the short term for the Fat Cats.

Manchester 1 Terrorists 0
You know that place on Upper Brook Street in Manchester where 'terrorists' have been arrested recently. Well I've driven past there for years. You just don't imagine that bastards who would contemplate blowing folk up could be as near to you as that!
I just hope there aren't any more sat next to me on Saturday when we'll blow the scousers away. After all they've blown their chances of the Champions League next year.
Must remember to leave my sandwich box at home.

Media Distortion Of The Truth
Against Portsmouth on Saturday, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had an effort on goal well saved by the goalkeepr and the commentator said so accordingly.
Then in the evening on the news summary of the days events, the shot was shown again. This time some tart says that Ole 'failed to score' blah blah.
Not quite the same thing you twat.
PS: Portsmouth goalkeeper, Shakka Hislop, once worked for NASA..yes, its true...as a rocket scientist. Now we know why his soccer career took off!

Howard Condition Worsens
Apparently, since he joined United, Tim Howard's condition, Tourette's syndrome, has worsened. His mother reckons his involuntary head movements have increased.
Perhaps this has been due to the increasing amount of ticking off he has received from the manager.

This Is Taking The Piss!
Ex goal scoring forward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was played on the left wing against Birmingham on Saturday. This is to cater for Ferguson's bizarre obsession with turning Ryan Giggs into a centre-forward.
To add insult to injury (from which he is now recovering well), he was substituted and the team ended up with Diego (I couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo) Forlan up front!
Not only that, he puts Giggs back on the left wing to accomodate this fearsome tactic.
I'd leave now Ole before he starts playing you at left back. I wonder what the odds are?

Sky Is Worse Than ITV!
I can't believe I'm about to say this...but at the moment ITV's broadcasting of the match itself is miles better than Sky TV. Not the before and after waffle but the way the cameras show the actual game.
This became obvious to me after I watched Chelsea beat Arsenal in the Champions League. Hardly a kick missed. Unlike Sky who have new policy of showing a replay every 30 seconds followed by zooming in to the back of a player's head, or some twat in the stands.....while the game is going on. So fecking annoying.
Sky..you've got complacent and are obviously employing some dickhead directors.
Get your act together.

Swedes Win Battle of The Vegetables
England fancy their chances in Euro 2004. Sorry April Fool's day!
I understand that the reason Sweden beat England last night, apart from the fact that they are crap, is....
Sweden played a flat pack four!
